This is pretty much the vibe that we’re going with for our wedding. We don’t have a wedding planner, it’s all hands-on, DIY, craft-it-if-you-can.
The ceremony will be taking place on a street promenade, which I think is pretty dope. The ceremony will be performed by our friend and bartender, Johnny Sampson. The reception will take place at our favorite local bar, Memphis at the Santora—where you may have seen me post a few Instagram pictures here and there.
We’re planning on using craft beer bottles as vases for the table centerpieces. I designed the Save The Dates after old Penguin bookcovers. I might end up crafting the actual invitations.
We didn’t want a traditional wedding. We want an “us” wedding. It’s a celebration, bitches. It’s a celebration of us.
Next week, we’ll be heading to LA to take a class at Scratch Academy. We’ll be learning how to spin, and we’ll have a chance to win a DJ for the wedding. I’m pretty stoked about everything regarding the wedding.
It’s gonna be a party. We’ll probably end up walking away from the altar to “Niggas In Paris.”
